Explanation (?): | The peer networking group authentication service provides Windows with the ability to authenticate peers in TCP/IP version 6 (IPv6). I imagine this allows an IPv6 computer to properly test the trust and integrity of seed servers and various peers. If you don't need this service then you don't need IPv6 and you can remove it from add / remove programs in the control panel. |
