Explanation (?): | The creative service for CDROM access service is used in extending the features of autoplay on Windows. This is installed along with the applications that come with the Creative Labs driver suites called Livewire. If you are using the disc detector feature of the Creative drivers then keep this set to automatic. If you are not then it is recommended you set this to manual (or disabled). Personally I turn off autoinsert notification entirely as it continually checks the CD every few seconds to see if a CD has been inserted. I would rather start a CD manually than have it autorun. |
