Explanation (?): | The VMWare Tools Service service provides the ability for the virtual machine emulation program VMWare to properly interact between a virtual machine session and the host computer. This communication is enabled by an optional software package called VMWare Tools that needs to be installed on the virtual session or advanced features are lost. The features provided by this service are the ability to drag and drop, drive mapping sharing, plus the chance for losing some hardware acceleration features. This service should be enabled if you are using VMWare. If you do not have VMWare installed then this service should not exist. |
